In 2005, Urban-cr3atures, founded by Lim, Chun Woei, was born out of a passion to create new design, start a trend, and courageously different. Our creative work is our playground. This is where we experiment with weird ideas to create designs that is original and satisfying. This process has given us a range of products that appeal to designers, from clothing to toys.

Apart from self-promotion, Urban-Cr3atures created Beautiful Junk in 2003, a platform to share and showcase original design and music.

JayLim is a home-grown Malaysian designers who previously worked in Singapore. He has a passion for advertising, graphic design and vector illustration. Muid Latif has been experimenting with digital art and design since 1997 when he was first exposed to Adobe Photoshop 3. After graduating in Fine Arts, University Technology Mara (UiTM), he began his career as a Malaysian web designer working in agencies such as Webguruasia, Netinfinium & XM Malaysia (now known as Expandium). He is a notable digital artist who actively promotes the decorative arts and culture of South East Asia such as Batik and Malay wood carvings in his work through exhibitions and online websites such as Digital Malaya Project, which he founded in 2001.

D.U.R.A is a 27 years old full time designer/illustrator based in Kuala Lumpur. Started her career as a corporate wear designer after graduated from UiTM in Diploma of Interior Architecture. Landed a job as fashion graphic designer in 2005 with Playez International, a local street wear brand where she designed girl’s range clothing and accessories. Four years working experience had given her the confidence to work out her own character designs and artwork, which originally produced and later transferred to t-shirts and small accessories.

Continuing designing t-shirts for fresh local street brand, High Cultured Clothing Label (HCLC) while actively participating in local art bazaars in promoting her artwork to local market. Not satisfied with merely one character, D.U.R.A or also going undercover as i.itch.illustrations often adding up the family with new characters and doing fashion illustrations which also takes up part of her passion.
